Learn Languages العربية

Privacy Policy

Effective 29 October 2026

Learn Languages is a language-learning app. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking.

What stays on your iPhone

Your phrases, lists, conversations, exercise results, review levels and settings are stored only on your iPhone. We can't see them.

Photos, PDFs, audio and video you choose to import are read on your iPhone to find text. Speech in audio and video files is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition. Translations use Apple's built-in translation.

AI voice

When the AI voice is on and a phrase hasn't been downloaded before, the app sends the text of that phrase and its language to our voice server. The server asks Microsoft Azure to read it aloud and sends the audio back. The audio is kept on the server, without any link to you, so the same phrase doesn't need to be made again.

To keep the service free and fair, the app also sends a random identifier created by the app (not your name, Apple ID or device serial). The server stores only a one-way scrambled form of it, with your internet address scrambled the same way, together with how many new phrases were made today. These daily counts are deleted after about two days.

You can turn the AI voice off in the app's Settings. The app then uses your iPhone's own voices and sends nothing.

Sharing

We don't sell or share your data. Phrase text is processed by Microsoft Azure only to create the audio. Our server runs on Cloudflare.

Children

The app doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes
